Buying & Selling Discounted Gift Cards

Why do I need to verify my account as a seller?

In order to protect the integrity of our marketplace and our gift card buyers we require all sellers to verify their account by linking their bank account. Doing so will allow you as a gift card seller to get paid quickly. All unverified accounts will take longer to receive their payouts. If we deem that your gift card has lost value EJ Gift Cards reserves the right to debit sellers account for the amount deposited.

How long before I receive my discounted E Gift Card via Email?

Most discounted E Gift Cards are delivered immediately to your inbox. However some order take longer than others so please allow up to 24 hours for delivery

How long before I receive my discounted Physical Gift Cards via Mail?

Most discounted Physical Gift Cards are delivered between 7 – 10 business days.

I have been charged multiple times for a purchase what should I do?

Each time you try to submit an order there is a temporary hold placed on your account. They will eventually drop off between 7 – 10 business days. If you attempt to submit the same order more than once it will seem as if they’re multiple charges. Don’t worry it will be removed and you will ONLY be charged for the initial order.

Why was my order cancelled?

We have an automated system that sometimes rejects orders. If you feel it was cancelled in error please contact customer support during the hours of 10AM- 5PM Mon – Fri EST

What should I do if the gift card I purchase doesn’t have the claimed balance that I bought it for?

Please log into your account and fill out a claim form. You can find the link on the left hand side once you log into your account. Fill out all required fields and leave a description as to what happened. Please allow us 14 – 21 business days to conduct an investigation.

How can I sell my gift card?

You can sell your gift card by going to http://ejgiftcards.com/sell-gift-cards/ then enter your card brand and the balance on the gift card. If our cash offer is acceptable click the big green button to accept.

When will I receive payment?

Typically it takes 1 – 3 business days if your account is verified. If your account is unverified we withhold payments for 30 days.

How long does it take to process a sell order?

Typically 1 -3 business days.

Is there another payment method besides Paypal?

UnfortunatelyPaypal is the only method of payment currently. We are planning do ACH payments in the near future.

If I have an eGift card, why do I have to mail it in?

Please contact us if this is the case. Sometimes we get merchants that are initially only physical gift cards who also happen to start selling eGift cards. We need to update the brands in our system.

How do I know if my gift card needs to be mailed in?

You will receive a confirmation email indicating which cards needs to be mailed in. We also periodically follow up via a phone call and a email reminder that you need to mail your cards in.

What are the instructions on how to mail my gift card?

Please mail gift cards to Att: Harry Jeanty P.O. BOX 7588 New York, New York 10116-7588.
Include your order ID number when your mailing. If your total card value in the order is over $100.00 we can send you a free mail in label.

Important: For security purposes please do not write anything related to gift cards on the envelope. You can still include your order ID number INSIDE the package.

How long will it take for me to receive payment after I mail in my gift card?

Typically within 1 -3 business days.

How do I know I’ve entered the wrong pin or card number?

We have a manual validation process that we follow. If you enter a wrong pin we typically reject the card unless you contact us, then we can update it in our system.

Where are you located?

We are based in NYC.

How can I get a quote for my gift card?

We give instant offers. You can get your offer by entering your gift card brand and gift card balance on this page.

Why am I able to enter a gift card, if you guys don’t accept them?

Our list of merchants that we accept is very dynamic in nature. Depending on the merchant sometimes we need to remove or add accepted merchants on our list depending on the merchants gift card policy.

Why haven’t I received a confirmation email about my order?

We automatically send an email confirmation with each order. If you did not receive it please contact us.

Why haven’t I received a confirmation when I cancel my order?

We handle cancellation of orders on a case by case basis. If you have not receive an email confirming the cancellation of your order please contact us.

Do you have a location I can go to sell my gift card(s)?

Currently we only have an online presence. We do not have any physical locations.

Why do I have a hold on my funds in Paypal?

Sometimes Paypal holds your payment if you have a new Paypal account. Another reason is sometimes we need to confirm it on our end.

How can I take off the hold on my funds in Paypal?

You need to contact Paypal to tell them release it, and sometimes we may need to confirm that we received your gift card on our end.

What are your hours of operation?

We operating Monday – Friday between 10am – 5pm. We are also closed on holidays.

Can I enter my order over the phone?

We only accept orders online at this time.

What can I do if I’m having problems logging in or forgot my password, Email, User ID?

How do I know you will accept my gift card?

Do I need a confirmation number for Paypal for me to receive my payment?

No you don’t need a Paypal confirmation number. However once we transfer cash to your Paypal account Paypal does provide a transaction ID.

How do I confirm my payment with you, so PayPal can release my funds?

If you need confirm please contact us and we will confirm the transaction on our end.

What is PayPal?

PayPal is a very easy and convenient way to transfer cash. You can both send and receive money very easily instantly.

What is considered a correct PayPal email?

A PayPal email is just a regular email address that you use to login to PayPal such as [email protected]
